TESTIMONIAL

“It’s always an honour to share my music when we, as a community, unify to celebrate and express our individuality.”

BIO

Selena Dhillon is an R&B/neo-soul artist from Toronto who began singing at the age of four and has not stopped since. Through songwriting with her own soulful sound and great range, she delivers messages regarding love, spirituality, politics and empowerment.

As an active member within communities, she seeks to empower others and exposes social issues. She was featured on the track “Paisa” for the movie De Dana Dan, and released her first single “Bang Bang” in dedication to victims from the 1984 attacks on Sikhs in India. She has also collaborated with artists and producers throughout the GTA and in October 2011, released her first solo project, Pieces of SD mixtape.

The heartbeat of many places and spaces have shaped this artist – the soul of Brooklyn, the spirit of England, and the comfort of Brampton all flow through her creativity. Using music as therapy, the mission is to ‘healovempower’, with the philosophy in her universe being simple: it’s all about a vibe.
