Beauty Blogger & Hijab Stylist @makeuphijabs
“The State Of Beauty” Panelist

“I feel so honoured to be asked to be a part of ANOKHI’s “This Is My Beauty” event this year as a panelist on “The State Of Beauty” panel. This event is going to be an amazing experience for me to connect with other like-minded people and I am looking forward to sharing my experience as an hijabi and addressing some important opinions, as well as concerns that people tend to have.”

Saman Munir is a beauty blogger and influencer who has amassed a substantial Instagram following with over 250K avid followers, who tune in to learn from her makeup and hijab tutorials. She has gotten the attention of many media outlets who have featured her, like: Fashion Magazine, Flare Magazine, PopSugar, Daily Mail UK and Yahoo to name a few.

This mother of three, who was formerly a quality control specialist at an automotive and aerospace company, quit her job after having her first child, (a daughter, who is now 9 years old). Saman also has two sons (a 7 and 3 year old), and in her own words, says that she’s so appreciative to have a “loving and supportive husband”.

She now works part-time as a makeup artist and is a well-known hijab stylist with her own online store and YouTube channel. Saman was inspired to start making her own video tutorials after watching other hijab style and makeup video tutorials because she felt she could bring some freshness to the industry. Through her videos, she has collaborated with more than 100 companies, to which she says humbly, “I love working with different brands and am honoured to be collaborating with work renowned brands like Too Faced, Tarte Cosmetics, Mac Cosmetics, Estee Lauder, Cover Girl and MakeupForever.”

Also a fitness advocate, she recently became a brand ambassador for UFC Mississauga Gym with her new fitness channel, where she loves to collaborate with other trainers and make new friends.
